VNHS Heart & Lung

If you suffer from shortness of breath, get easily fatigued, or take multiple medications to manage your respiratory symptoms, our cardio pulmonary program can ease your symptoms and help you live life more fully.

According to the American Lung Association, more than 35 million Americans live with chronic lung disease.  The American Heart Association’s report, Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics says that cardiovascular disease (CVD) claims one million lives each year.   All heart and lung conditions are serious, but many of them can be managed effectively at home with the help of our clinical team.

When your physician orders home healthcare for you, our skilled and caring nurses will assess your heart and lung-related symptoms and determine your unique needs. Our occupational therapist will evaluate your functional ability and teach you how to use special techniques to conserve your energy.  Working with your physician, our team will monitor your progress and modify your plan of care.

Our experienced clinical team will help you meet your health goals and keep you as independent as possible in the comfort of your own home.
