Suzanne’s primary role is to manage all fund-raising activities and assume primary responsibility for cultivation and stewardship of major gift prospects. Prior to joining Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta, Suzanne was a director of development at Emory University for almost seven years where she focused on raising major gifts for strategic priorities in neurology and launching a fundraising office for Emory's new Institute for Developing Nations. Prior to 2001, Suzanne worked at the Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Millbrook, New York, where she was instrumental in planning and implementing the Institute's first major capital campaign. She previously served as legislative associate at the American Chemical Society. Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
