Hospice Operations


Myra’s primary role is to provide leadership and support to the Hospice program to optimize operational effectiveness, clinical outcomes, service quality, patient satisfaction, performance improvement and patient safety. Formerly she was a faculty member in the Brydine School of Nursing at Georgia State University. She also is adjunct faculty in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in the area of Health Care Management and Policy. Myra started her first hospice in Birmingham, AL, in the late 1970’s and has worked throughout her career developing, managing and directing hospice and home healthcare programs throughout Alabama and Georgia. Myra received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University and Master of Science in Community Health Nursing from the University of Alabama Birmingham.
