Matthew J. Schreiber, M.D.

Matthew J. Schreiber, M.D., brings extensive strategic and operational vision to the board. He is also one of the organization’s nine medical directors. He is currently interim chief medical officer for Piedmont Hospital. A hospitalist expert, he created a unique hospitalist unit at Piedmont, and has served on the boards of the Piedmont Clinic and the Piedmont Medical Care Corporation. He was recently elected as committee chair for the Georgia Hospital Association Committee of Care Transitions.
