Mary Long

Mary Long, is a consultant and has served as Group Vice President for Community Relations and Special Projects for the Arthritis Foundation National Headquarters, President of the Georgia Nurses Foundation, President of Friends and Public Health, President of the Georgia Nurses Association and Chair of Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies Coalition. She founded Georgia's first health clinic for the homeless, and was the first African-American to Chair the board of the YMCA of Greater Atlanta as well as Vice-Chair the Commission on Children and Youth. She is a three-time recipient of the Appreciation for Leadership Skills in Government Affairs Certificate from the Georgia Nurses Association and was presented the 13th Anniversary Salute to Women of Achievement by the YMCA of Greater Atlanta.
